Interview 7:00 pm

Noble Coyote CoffeeFor this AIRTime we will interview Kevin Sprague, Owner, and Kyle Simmons, Green Buyer and Head of Education, for Noble Coyote Coffee Roasters. Kevin and Kyle will be sharing the art and science of coffee roasting, and how getting to just the right flavor emerges from a roaster’s background and roasting philosophy. And…what is the derivation of the name Noble Coyote?

This project is funded in part by the City of Richardson through the City of Richardson Cultural Arts Commission.

Movie 7:45 pm

Diner movie posterAfter the interview, enjoy a cup of coffee while watching DINER (1982) R 1h50m – directed by Barry Levinson, starring Steve Guttenberg, Mickey Rourke and Kevin Bacon in what have become rather iconic roles about a group of college-age friends who have their own set of challenges transitioning to adulthood in 1959-set Baltimore. Where better to try to figure out life than at a diner over cups of coffee?

A fun bit of trivia about the filming: “All of the scenes in the diner were filmed last after the cast got to know each other. The dialogue in those scenes is a combination of scripted and improvisational.”
