November’s AIRTime offers double the art as AIR hosts guest artists Paulette Martsolf, owner/designer of Allie-Coosh, and Jim Lively, artist and curator at Martsolf Lively Contemporary.

Martsolf recently moved her successful 25-year-old boutique to Richardson where she serves as the designer and creative mastermind behind the popular clothing and jewelry lines. Lively is also an accomplished author and developer of experimental art videos.

Bringing their creative talents together, Martsolf and Lively developed an innovative concept of merging fashion with contemporary art. This union resulted in Allie-Coosh Lifestyle and Martsolf Lively Contemporary Art where fashion gracefully and seamlessly collides with fine art.

Join us for this very special interview of two extremely innovative minds.

Providing some insight into the fashion industry is THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA (2006) starring Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway. Hathaway plays the young assistant to a quite demanding editor-in-chief of a high fashion magazine.

7:00PM – interview; 7:45PM – Movie

This project funded in part by the City of Richardson through the City of Richardson Cultural Arts Commission.

What is AIRTime?

AIRTime is an artist interview series presented by AIR4arts. The event was formerly held live on stage at the Alamo Drafthouse in Richardson, Texas. In 2020 we shifted to provide a virtual experience.

Not able to tune in live with us? A recording of the interview will be made available shortly after the event. As always, each and every AIRTime interview can be listened to at your leisure as a podcast on Apple Podcasts or in your favorite podcast player.
