Come join us for another great AIRTime presented by AIR4arts on March 13 2017 as moderator David Fisher interviews artist and engineer Chris Garcia who founded Evolinea Clocks, the new face and function of time. Evolinea Clocks’ latest creation is the Lucia Clock which uses colored LEDs to display a linear, minimalist interpretation of time and has been described as “clocks disguised as contemporary minimalist art,” “art in sync with time” and “the clock of the future.”

This evening’s movie selection will be HUGO. From acclaimed director Martin Scorsese comes a most magical, big-hearted children’s story. Based on author Brian Selznick’s award-winning book, HUGO tells the story of a resourceful orphan boy who, secretly living in a train station, teams up with a girl (Chloe Moretz) to unlock the secret left to him by his father. Starring Ben Kingsley, Sacha Baron Cohen, Asa Butterfield, Jude Law, and Ray Winstone, HUGO is a film about the triumph of cinema, a beautiful story that will stay with you long after the credits roll.

What is AIRTime?

AIRTime is an artist interview series presented by AIR4arts. The event was formerly held live on stage at the Alamo Drafthouse in Richardson, Texas. In 2020 we shifted to provide a virtual experience via Facebook Live.

Not able to tune in live with us? A recording of the interview will be made available shortly after the event. As always, each and every AIRTime interview can be listened to at your leisure as a podcast on Apple Podcasts or in your favorite podcast player.
