Ricochet 2019—is a citywide event focusing on creativity and the arts in Richardson. Presented and developed by AIR4arts, this festival provides opportunities for artists and creatives of many kinds to showcase their talents while creating greater awareness of the vibrant arts and creative community in Richardson.
WHEN: Saturday – October 19, 2019: 12:00 – 5:00pm and a special Texas artist concert from 8:00 – 11:30pm
WHERE: Multiple venues across the City will host FREE performances and engaging activities for all who love the arts and creativity. Sites range from Heights Shopping Center and Four Bullets Brewery to the Richardson Public Library. Finale concerts featuring Terri Hendrix and Lloyd Maines with headliners Two Tons of Steel – all appearing at Six Springs Tavern.
WHO: Artists range from actors to painters, singers, dancers, storytellers, and jugglers! Creativity on Tap is the art/creative exhibit in partnership with Four Bullets Brewery featuring new works of art, poetry, stories, music and more all based on “beer.” Sidewalk chalk artists return, as well, at Heights Village Shopping Center. This year there is a special showing of latest release of “The Addams Family” in partnership with Alamo Drafthouse Cinema—the inspiration for the chalk artists’ drawings.
